Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Code By Nordic ("we", "us") handles information when you use the App Store Screenshot Studio plugin for Figma ("the Plugin"). We built the Plugin to be private by design — this policy explains exactly what that means.

2. Your Screenshots and Designs Stay on Your Device

All image processing — including device framing, layout generation, and background styling — happens locally inside Figma on your device. Your app screenshots, designs, and generated assets are never transmitted to, stored on, or processed by our servers. We cannot see your work.

3. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum data needed to operate the free-tier limit and Pro licensing:

• —Usage count (free tier) — When you generate a set, the Plugin sends your Figma user ID (a pseudonymous identifier provided by Figma, e.g. a random string — not your name or email) to our backend, where it is immediately hashed before storage. We store only the resulting hash — never the ID itself. This means we cannot identify you from our records, though we can still locate your entry if you provide your Figma user ID. Alongside the hash we store a counter of how many times you have used the Plugin, together with created/updated timestamps, used solely to enforce the free generation limit. We do not receive your name, email address, or any content from your Figma files.
• —Upgrade interest (anonymous) — When the upgrade button is clicked, the Plugin increments a daily counter on our backend. This request contains no user ID and no other identifier of any kind, and cannot be linked back to you or to any individual. We use it only to understand whether the upgrade option is being seen.
• —License information (Pro) — If you purchase App Store Screenshot Studio Pro, your license key and a device activation identifier are stored locally in Figma's plugin storage on your device and validated against the Lemon Squeezy License API to confirm your subscription status. We do not store your license key on our servers.
• —Payments — Purchases are processed by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com). Payment details (card number, billing address, email) are collected and processed by Lemon Squeezy and its payment providers — never by us or the Plugin. 4. What We Do Not Collect

Beyond what's described above, App Store Screenshot Studio does not collect:

• —No names, email addresses, or account details (unless you contact us or purchase, in which case Lemon Squeezy handles it)
• —No screenshots, design files, or file contents
• —No third-party analytics, tracking pixels, advertising identifiers, or behavioural profiling — the only counters we keep are the two described in Information We Collect above
• —No browsing or behavioral data

5. Where Data Is Stored

Usage counters are stored with Supabase on servers located in the European Union, in accordance with GDPR.

6. Legal Basis and Retention

We process the usage counter on the basis of legitimate interest (operating a freemium product), and license validation for Pro subscribers on the basis of performance of a contract. Usage records are retained indefinitely: the free-tier allowance is a one-time allocation per user and is never reset, including for users who subscribe and later cancel — deleting the record would restore the free allowance, which is why we keep it. You may request deletion of your usage record at any time (see Contact below); deletion resets the free-tier limit.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for Code By Nordic, that is Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY) in Sweden, though you may also contact the supervisory authority in your own country. Since we store only a hash of your Figma user ID rather than the ID itself, we cannot identify you from our records directly; include your Figma user ID in your request so we can locate your entry by re-hashing it.

8. Children's Privacy

App Store Screenshot Studio is a professional design tool and is not directed at children under 16.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy as the Plugin evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
